Our vine leaves, branded as “ANNA“, are one of our most in-demand products. These are selected vine leaves, hand-picked from choice vineyards. Ideal for sarmadakia, vegetarian dolmades (yalantzi), and yaprakia, with outstanding flavor and texture. They are packaged in one-liter jars with 80-100 leaves per package, as well as in cases of 12 units.

The vine leaves are harvested from selected vineyards in Nea Gonia, following strict quality criteria—something clearly reflected in their steadily increasing demand.

Sarmadakia with ANNA vine leaves

SARMADAKIA

Ingredients

  • 1 jar ANNA vine leaves
  • 1 cup rice
  • 1 bunch dill
  • 1 bunch spearmint
  • 1/2 bunch fennel
  • 3 large onions
  • 2 fresh tomatoes
  • oil, salt and pepper, yogurt

Instructions

Finely chop all ingredients in a bowl, add the rice, oil, salt and pepper, and mix well.

Then, take one leaf at a time, add a little filling, and roll it. Not too tightly, because the rice will expand and they will break during cooking.

Arrange them in a circle in a pot or baking dish and cover them with a plate (in the pot) or vine leaves (in the oven/baking dish), depending on how you want to cook them. Then add water and oil and cook them.

Serve with yogurt.
