Lamda Groceries is the evolution of a family-run agricultural business with over 20 years of hands-on farming experience. Our story begins in 1991, when our founders, Petros and Anna Sakalis, devoted themselves wholeheartedly to cultivating vegetables and grapes, laying the foundation for the company we are today.
Our farms are located in the region of Chalkidiki, with most of our land—around 120 acres—situated in Nea Gonia, an area known for its rich agricultural heritage.
Petros Sakalis and his wife, Anna, begin cultivating and supplying agricultural products in Nea Gonia.
The family invested in the construction of dedicated buildings where the sorting, packaging, and storage of the products take place.
The company’s farmland continues to grow. Most of it—covering 70 acres—is located in Nea Gonia.
Under the brand name “ANNA,” Lamda Groceries’ vine leaves are carefully hand-selected and packaged in one-liter jars.
Selected vineyards from the Nea Gonia area provide top-quality, small-batch tsipouro.
The company expands into organic farming alongside its conventional cultivation methods, offering customers even more choices.
Our vine leaves under the distinctive name “ANNA” are among our most sought-after products. They are carefully selected vine leaves, hand-harvested from chosen vineyards. Ideal for sarmadakia, vegetarian dolmades (yalantzi), and yaprakia, they offer excellent flavor and texture. They are packaged in one-liter jars containing 80–100 leaves per jar, and also available in cartons of 12 units.
The vine leaves are harvested from selected vineyards in Nea Gonia, following strict quality criteria—something clearly reflected in their steadily increasing demand.
